The Details
Ceremony
Join us as we say “I do” and begin this next chapter together. Our wedding ceremony will be a traditional Catholic ceremony held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church at 3:00 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive by 2:30 PM and seated by 2:45 PM so everyone can be settled before the ceremony begins. We’re so grateful to have our loved ones there to witness and celebrate this special moment with us, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
Church Parking:
On the weekends, the St. Joseph’s parking lot (accessed via the driveway between the church and the rectory) is open for parishioners and visitors to park for Mass. The Senate parking lot, directly across the street from the front doors of the church, is often open as well.
The Union Station Metro stop is the closest to our church, only two blocks away. For a rail map go to https://www.wmata.com/schedules/maps/#main-content
Cocktail Hour
Following the ceremony, please join us at the Larz Anderson House for cocktail hour beginning at 5:45 PM. Guests are welcome to arrive at the house starting at 5:45 PM, where we’ll gather for drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and time to mingle before the reception.
Venue Parking:
There is no on-site parking at the Larz Anderson House (Anderson House) at 2118 Massachusetts Avenue, NW in Washington, D.C. Limited street parking is available in the Dupont Circle neighborhood, and public parking garages are located within one block at nearby hotels including The Ven at Embassy Row, The Royal Sonesta, and the Residence Inn by Marriott. The Dupont Circle Metro stop (Red Line) is located two blocks from the Anderson House. Uber and Lyft are also great options.

Reception
After cocktail hour, we’ll continue the celebration with dinner, drinks, dancing, and plenty of time to celebrate together. The reception will take place at the Larz Anderson House, beginning at 7:00 PM. We’re so excited to share an unforgettable evening with our favorite people as we eat, dance, laugh, and raise a glass to this next chapter. Come ready to celebrate—we can’t wait to see you on the dance floor!
Dress Code
Our dress code is Black Tie Optional. We invite you to dress up and celebrate with us in your finest evening attire. Tuxedos and formal gowns are welcome, but a dark, formal suit or elegant cocktail-length dress is perfectly appropriate as well. Whatever you choose, we hope you feel comfortable, confident, and like yourself—it’s a chance to get a little dressed up and enjoy a fancy night out with us!
